  • Glorious evening and I’m feeling a bit reflective. 8 years ago this was a flat field. There were no trees and there was no pond, just grass where 4 large chicken sheds had been about 15 years ago.
I’ve been keen on nature since I was a toddler and now in the last 8 and a half years I have been lucky enough to be able to return a small patch of Britain to what it should be. Full of wild flowers and insects, birds and wildlife. All are welcome even if they chomp the leaves or make mounds of earth in the lawn. It’s not difficult to take the plastic and poison out of your life if you want to do it. Make a pond, recycle, none of us are perfect but we can do our bit. Nature can come back. It’s taken a few years but today I feel we’re getting there in this little corner. #ecosystem #nature #wildflowers #wildlife #england #englishcountrygarden #britishlife #conservation #wildlifeconservation #environment #environmentalist #conservationist #pondlife #ecosystem #wiltshiregarden #mygarden #emorsgateseeds #meadow @plantlife.loveplants @woodlandtrust @cpre
